Butter Spreader Carving Kits

Everything you need to carve your own Swedish style butter spreaders! 

These spreaders are fully useable and great to make as gifts or to use for your favourite toast topping everyday! 

Green woodwork has experienced a revolution in the last few years, and rightly so! For me, it ticks all the boxes; it's a calming and meditative, mindful activity that gets you outdoors in nature and gets you truly connected to what you are doing. Green woodcarving has a wonderful community around the globe that are seeing the benefits for themselves and sharing it with others. 

I have designed these kits to make it easy for you to experience the joy of wood carving for yourselves, and they also make great gifts for others! 

Each kit contains: 

• Mora 106 straight knife
• A finished butter knife to use as a template
• Four green-wood carving blanks
• A mini first aid kit
• An instruction sheet
• A leather strop and stropping compound

Things to note: 

• Currently I can only ship to the UK due to limitations with shipping knives and green wood abroad and to ensure I can offer the best quality wood on arrival to you.
• The wood used will be dependant on what I have and will most likely be Cherry, Hazel or Birch. 
• The woodcarving blanks will be cut to order, please allow a maximum 7 day lead time on this.
• As they are cut to order, the shapes may vary slightly from the photos.  
• The woodcarving blanks will be sent wrapped in ziplock bags to keep them fresh to carve. I would recommend putting these in the freezer until you are ready to work on them to prevent mould. If you do get mounding, just wash it off and carve it out. Please be aware of this when ordering for others, if it is a gift, perhaps open the kit and freeze the blanks until you are ready to give the gift.
