A small caddy spoon from my Celtic collection, hand carved from Cherry wood from Wiltshire.
The triquetra, or "trinity knot," is an ancient Celtic symbol formed by three interlocking arcs, representing the unity of three elements, such as mind, body, and spirit; life, death, and rebirth; or the Holy Trinity in Christianity. It signifies eternity, with no beginning or end. It the Triple Goddess (Maiden, Mother, Wise Woman) and the interconnected realms of earth, sea, and sky.
In the modern world, it is frequently used as a sign of affection (similar to a promise ring), symbolizing "you, me, and eternity".
The caddy spoon is small and petite, made to be kept in jars of your favourite tea/coffee/potions.
Carved in Cherry wood, finished with a beeswax/mineral oil mix and kolrosing.

Care Instructions
This is a hand carved wooden item and knife and tool marks may still be present. Please do not put wooden items in the dishwasher. Hand wash only with warm soapy water and leave to air dry. You may wish to oil your spoon every once in a while if it starts looking thirsty. A coat of food safe oil (tung oil, nut oils etc) will nourish the wood and keep it looking fresh.
