Back in August!!
Feys of the Forest… I found these two forest dwellers in this wooden branch.
I’ve been feeling the call of the green man for a while now and suddenly got the inspiration to create two pieces simultaneously (check out Green Man of The Ash Wood piece).
All created by hand with the inspiration of the great Oak and its counterparts in the wood. The basic design was gently sketched on to the wood by hand and all the intricate details were done free-hand in the freedom of the moment.
This two will bring a magic energy into your home, perhaps a little mischief, who knows!? They are fey people after all….
Burnt on using the method of Pyrography. Pyrography is a free-form slow art, burning the design into wood or leather.
A sturdy d-ring will allow you to fix in your desired space. Recommend to hang indoors out of direct sunlight to avoid fading.
Finished with OSMO UV protection wood oil.

This is a hand carved wooden item and knife and tool marks may still be present. Please do not put wooden items in the dishwasher. Hand wash only with warm soapy water and leave to air dry. You may wish to oil your spoon every once in a while if it starts looking thirsty. A coat of food safe oil (tung oil, nut oils etc) will nourish the wood and keep it looking fresh.
